4. A Superstar Losing A Match Leading To That Person Getting "Buried"
The "buried" term in wrestling is one of those overused words that fans use a bit too much just because they are mad about somebody losing. There were actually some fans out there telling me that John Cena was "buried" because he lost to Brock Lesnar because it was such a dominant win by Lesnar. No. That's silly. Cena losing a match like that was pretty rare, but it's not like it is going to hurt the star power of a guy that won 15 WWE World Titles in his career. Cena will be just fine. This is something where I'm actually sympathetic with WWE about because they're in a no win situation. They really can't push everybody, yet if somebody loses a match on Raw, Smackdown or PPV you're going to see fans complaining about that person getting buried. A good example of that right now is Damien Sandow. He's been losing on TV for months, but he's doing an entertaining job of it too. Give him credit for that at least. It's wrestling. Some people win. Some people lose. You can't put everybody over all the time. What's important is that they turn the losses into compelling stories. Don't overreact to losses. It's not that big of a deal.
