7 Things WWE Killed Forever At Hell In A Cell 2019

5. Seth Rollins’ Moveset

Killing finishing moves is nothing new for WWE, particularly in this era, but they really did Seth Rollins dirty at HIAC, with Bray Wyatt absorbing each of his biggest bombs.

Seth hit his first Stomp shortly after Frog Splashing his opponent through a table. The Fiend popped up. Seth hit another onto a sledgehammer on the outside, then three of the bastards back inside the ring. The Fiend got up. A Pedigree and another Stomp got a one-count. Cue: a Superkick and, like, five or six more Blackouts. The Fiend kicked out at one.

That’s at least 10 Stomps, a Pedigree, a table-assisted Frog Splash, plus countless knees and Superkicks. Rollins’ moveset is irreparably f*cked.

The Fiend shaking off one or two moves in a quick squash wouldn’t have been a problem. Doing it so often over a relatively short period of time, however, is. How does anybody buy into the Stomp now? Or how about Seth’s Pedigree, which is supposed to be his guaranteed killshot? Like Jim Cornette is fond of saying, you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube.
