7 Things WWE Must Do In The Mixed Match Challenge

2. Make The '2nd Chance' Idea Count

Even if Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss are eliminated at the first hurdle, they'd still have a chance to win the Mixed Match Challenge. WWE have inserted a '2nd Chance' option at the Semi Final stage, and who gets a reprieve will be decided via online fan poll. Unless people fancy seeing Natalya and Shinsuke Nakamura have another go-around, that spot would surely go to Braun/Alexa.

It's easy to spot that the 2nd Chance slot is on the bottom half of the brackets, so maybe WWE will be strict about which teams fans can vote back in. That wouldn't make much sense though, because it'd exclude some of the more popular teams. Are folks really going to vote for Bayley/Elias or Nia Jax/Apollo Crews?

Nah, open it up and give people a real choice. That's the only way to do it, WWE. Nobody wants to see a crap team get to the latter stages anyway, not when more dynamic duos like Bliss and Strowman are waiting in the wings, have more intrigue as a partnership, and are the more over stars individually.
