7 Things WWE Must Do With NXT On USA Network

1. Leave It To Triple H For Good

Spine-chilling hearsay is out there, folks, and it's suggesting that Vincent Kennedy McMahon may be willing to tamper with NXT's formula now the show is on USA Network. If that turns out to be true, then NXT as everyone knows it will change forever, and it could become Raw or SmackDown-lite.

The sound of Twitter knives sharpening is almost deafening.

This fan doesn't subscribe the popular theory that Vince McMahon is an out-of-touch old loon who should bugger off and leave things to his kids. Vince didn't get to where he is today without being shrewd, but he should take a page out of the same playbook that saw Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff thrust into power roles on Raw and SmackDown and leave NXT to Triple H.

Trips is a father figure to the NXT roster, and he's proudly endorsed the brand as important to the WWE cause since day one. His vision created it, his hard work has evolved it and his fingerprints need to be all over it when NXT debuts on USA. Anything else would be heresy to those who have plundered countless hours of passion into the project.
