The decision to make Bad News Barrett the winner of the recent Network-exclusive King of the Ring tournament was an interesting one. The standard 'King' gimmick bestowed upon many winners after their triumph could be pulled off particularly well by the Brit, but runs the risk of becoming just another cliche. Hopefully Wade can benefit in some way from the push instead of continuing to linger aimlessly in lower-midcard obscurity. The best thing for Barrett would be an immediate feud, the first match coming at Payback. There are many candidates on the roster with very little currently going for them - a potentially interesting choice would be Luke Harper in a deranged hobo vs snooty king match-up.
