7 Things WWE Needs To Do In The Build For Payback

4. Keep Rusev Strong

The Rusev/Cena feud is heading for a fairly predictable climax. The seeds have been sown indicating a big Lana babyface turn, and she'll probably cost the big Bulgarian his match at Payback (either inadvertently or deliberately). It's a shame that Rusev lost his clash with Cena at WrestleMania 31, especially after the strong build he was given, but an avenging victory looks very unlikely come May 17th. While it may be slightly wishful thinking to expect the WWE to give Rusev a big win - especially in an 'I Quit' match against the man whose entire gimmick is based around the fact he never gives up - he could at least be kept strong before and after Payback. He runs the risk of being overshadowed by Cena's victory and Lana's impending turn, but can get out of the feud without sustaining too much damage if portrayed as a legitimate danger throughout.
