7 Times Triple H Buried WWE's Tag Team Division
6. T & A - 2000

Nine years before Triple H was routinely beating two bright young stars on house shows and TV, he was managing to overcome two of the biggest men in the entire company in the shape of Test and Albert. The duo were 'hilariously' known as T & A and were managed by Trish Stratus, yet Test was understandably still annoyed at that whole 'Triple H kidnapped and married my wife-to-be whilst she was drugged' thing. It sort of leaves a bad taste, you know?
Triple H took on both the T and the A on an episode of SmackDown in September 2000, ostensibly to 'defend the honour' of that same woman he kidnapped and married in Vegas. The commentators spend a lot of the match making Test out to be something of a crybaby over what happened less than a year prior with Stephanie McMahon, commentary that sounds awful to this day.
Albert misses pretty much all of his punches, but Test manages to hit the Big Boot and get his hands on Stephanie - only for Kurt Angle to get involved and allow Albert to waddle straight into the match-winning Pedigree. T & A could have been a a great midcard team for WWE, but instead, they were sacrificed at the altar of the The Game.
