7 Times Vince McMahon Thought WrestleMania Sucked

6. "Brothers Don't Fight"

Owen Bret Hart WrestleMania X

The sub-heading for this entry is a famous quote revealed on 'Something To Wrestle With'. It pertains to Vince's outlook on the idea that brothers Bret and Owen Hart would feud for much of 1994; to McMahon, it was totally preposterous that siblings would wage war, especially when they came from a family like the Hart clan.

Everyone else behind the scenes let out a timid, "WTF, mate?".

Of course, siblings fight all the time, but that was lost on McMahon. He couldn't understand why people would want to see two brothers go at it on an event like WrestleMania X, and that's why he wasn't exactly sold on Bret vs. Owen until the pair stepped foot in the ring and weaved sheer grappling magic.

After that classic, he was a little more into the feud. Beforehand, he definitely wasn't, and didn't get Pat Patterson's excitement over the brotherly dispute. Opening 'Mania with a match like that was a waste, or so Vince thought before the bell.
