7 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Collision (Sept 23 - Results & Review)

2. Perfectly Fine Tag Team Bout

AEW Collision Dax Harwood JD Drake
AEW

Now that last week has shown us that FTR's open challenge for their Tag Team Titles may not involve particularly lengthy matches, the latest defence of that gold was perfectly fine for what was needed.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler faced off with the WorseHorsemen tandem of Anthony Henry and JD Drake, with FTR getting the win in just under five minutes. Still, Dax and Cash's opponents at least got a few brief moments to shine.

For Anthony Henry, he's always such a fundamentally sound, silky worker to watch, and he had a really nice exchange with Cash early on. As for JD Drake, the athletic big man pulled off an incredible moonsault in addition to landing some meaty chops on Harwood.

All of this was observed by Aussie Open from the commentary table, as we gear up for Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis challenging for the AEW Tag Team Championships at WrestleDream next weekend.
