7 Ups & 1 Down From WWE SmackDown (14 Feb - Results & Review)
5. Women's Qualifier Was Really Good

Firstly, it could be argued that Naomi is a less interesting addition to the women’s Chamber match than Chelsea Green, but that’s a minor gripe. These women worked well together, and the match was made better by Chelsea's shocked facials whenever Naomi had the cheek to kick out of her moves. Green’s character work is a regular highlight of her matches, that's for sure.
Another bonus here? There wasn’t too much interference from Piper Niven or Bianca Belair around ringside to distract from the in-ring work. Piper picked her spots to try help Chelsea, and Belair was only there as backup incase Niven stuck her nose in and tried to pull a fast one on Naomi. Their restraint was appreciated, 'cause it meant full focus could go on the actual match itself.
Later, Nick Aldis showed Naomi and Bianca footage of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez fleeing the scene after Jade Cargill got injured last year. That means the Women's Tag Champs are heading to Raw (they can go anywhere with the belts) for a bit, which is totally fine. They don't really have much going on with SmackDown at the moment anyway; at least not until Jade returns and things get spicy on a heel turn for either reigning champion.
Green missing out on Chamber sucks a wee bit, but she'll survive provided WWE moves on from the boring Michin feud pronto. Her entertaining character work goes a long, long way. However, Chelsea deserves praise for her wrestling on Friday. She and Naomi produced a tidy match you should go out of your way to see.
