OK, so it's a bit cheap to complain about The Miz and John Morrison losing when they were SmackDown Tag Champs and then give this an 'Up', but bear with it. This New Day loss gets a free pass because the blue brand's division needs a few more competitive teams, and it was booked as a solid, clean win for Cutler and Blake.

The Forgotten Sons are up and running, baby.

It's stock booking to have the champs lose so soon after bagging the belts again, yes, but it's also true this is a major win Cutler, Blake and Ryker can hang their hats on going forward. The fact Miz and Morrison were there to see it on guest commentary is similarly a plus.

Within one short week, Forgotten Sons have gone from curious newcomers to serious contenders, and that must be considered a positive. Besides, it's not like Kofi Kingston and Big E lose any face by dropping to defeat.
