7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 1)

4. Reunited At Last

Even though Scott D'Amore refused to allow Heath to team with Rhino this week against Reno Scum, 'The War Machine' still decided to go into things alone opposite the hard-hitters as opposed to choosing a different partner. As if we needed another reminder of how determined Rhino was, he proved so here.

The match itself was quite decent, with Adam Thornstowe providing a reminder that he's not all about battering an opponent, as evidenced by a picture-perfect dropkick and standing moonsault. With Luster The Legend laid out at ringside thanks to one of the weaker Gores we've seen, the referee still deemed it deadly enough to focus his attention towards the mohawked monster. This opened the door for the cameraman to deliver a Wake Up Call to Thornstowe, allowing Rhino to pick up the win, with the camera operator, of course, revealing himself as 'The Hottest Free Agent'.

This was a perfect segment. As a whole, the bout was alright, with three big beefy boys going at each other. Having Heath interfere in this manner rather than simply emerging from behind the guard rail was far better, and was made even more enjoyable by the fact he positioned the camera to cover his face for the whole match up to that point. Regardless of what D'Amore has to say, Heath would be a truly outstanding asset to the Impact roster.
