7 Ups & 2 Downs From ROH Death Before Dishonor 2022

1. A Match That Could’ve Been Cut

Right, confession time: The guy writing this piece isn't exactly sweet on the idea of Six-Man Tag Titles generally. They just seem like an unnecessary addition to most promotions that have them outside of Japan, and ROH is no exception. "Unnecessary addition" could sum this particular match up too.

It was clear 'let-me-up' fare.

Whilst there was nothing wrong with The Righteous vs. Dalton Castle and The Boys, this was Death Before Dishonor's popcorn match. In other words, it came out looking like something that should've been on the pre-show rather than a featured act on pay-per-view.

90% of the thing was skippable; the live crowd kinda snoozed through it until Dutch's dive spot, and then went back to sleep after that moment. Watch it for Dalton's flashy entrance, then fast forward through until the finish.

Khan could've cut this one easily.
