Then, in the headline slot to close the show, Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa meandered from the opening bell and didn’t really pick up the pace nearly enough until the final stretch. This definitely wasn’t a slow-burner like CM Punk vs. Roman on Sunday night at 'Mania. It was a dull TV match that was more of a vehicle for what happened afterwards than anything else.

It looks like that's a wrap for Jacob on SmackDown for now, and this wasn’t the best match for him to go out on. Personally, and not to press repeat, but this fan isn't into the bizarre heelish edge The Usos are showing around Fatu either. Generally, this week’s headliner didn’t hit the heights Triple H surely planned it to, and that must owe something to the fact that fans don't really buy Sikoa as being on Jacob's level nowadays.

Admittedly, the post-match stuff was better and fits Fatu’s recklessness, but that wasn’t enough to pull the nose up on the match itself. The writing team made the 'Samoan Werewolf' look powerful enough to take on Solo and the MFTs by himself (he neither wanted nor needed help from Jimmy and Jey), but it would've been nice had that story been packaged into a better bout between these dudes.

Strangely, Fatu and Sikoa don't seem to have much chemistry as opponents. On paper, every match between them should be bruising and entertaining, but this one certainly wasn't. It's a bit of a shame that it's the scrap that sends Jacob on over to Raw. Not the best goodbye to team blue!
