The subheading says it all.

Dolph Ziggler goading Dominik Mysterio into replacing his father for a short one-on-one match was good stuff, but WWE spoiled everything by having Dom pick up a fluky win over one half of the SmackDown Tag Champs. Why the hell did they do that?! It spat on their own story!

Leaning on Dominik's inexperience heading into Backlash next week would've been a fine story. Instead, creative wanted one of those 'roll-up out of nowhere' style finishes that we see way too much of these days. This was a really, really poor decision, and it didn't achieve much for the heels or the babyfaces.

Their pay-per-view title match needs more than the tease that Rey and Dom might become the first father and son Tag-Team Champions in WWE history. Dolph's sneering promo was a chance to add that new layer, but it was completely wasted by the match result.
