7 Ups & 3 Downs For AEW Collision (Oct 21 - Results & Review)
1. A Solid Main Event
The clear match of the night on this particular AEW Collision outing was obviously the stunning opener between Bryan Danielson and Andrade El Idolo, but Collision was closed out in solid fashion, too.
Here, it was Ricky Starks and Big Bill successfully defending their AEW Tag Team Titles against the Blackpool Combat Club's Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. The bout itself was a decent one - particularly with each team having their own respective powerhouse - but there was a bigger story at play here. Namely, it was House of Black flexing their muscles.
Having already attacked Bryan Danielson and FTR earlier in the night, HOB turned up to screw the BCC in their match against Starks and Bill, providing the assist for Absolute to pin Yuta for the 1-2-3. Those shenanigans brought out FTR, Bryan, and eventually Jon Moxley.
Sure, one might question why Mox didn't come out to help Danielson earlier in the night when the American Dragon was on the receiving end of a three-on-one assault, but nonetheless, the scene which closed out this week's Collision throws out plenty of options and firmly has House of Black's fingers in plentiful pies.
