7 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage: New Year's Smash (Dec 30)

Preston Vance Perro Peligroso Lexy Nair

Say goodbye to Preston Vance and say hello to "Perro Peligroso". That, apparently, is 10's new name since leaving The Dark Order to link up with Rush and friends. Perhaps Vance will come out next week and call himself 'The Vicious Perro Peligroso', or maybe 'The Perro Peligroso Experience'.

OK, just taking the p*ss with this now.

Seriously, there was no real point to this promo alongside Lexy Nair. Nobody did anything wrong, as such, but Perro had nothing new to say following that prior sit-down interview with Jim Ross. So, he was forced to try and fumble his way through some bonus narrative context that didn't make a lick of sense anyway.

If Preston thought wearing a mask was so stupid, then why did he go along with it for three years? Also, his line about making a young kid cry being something he wishes he'd done in 2020 didn't land the way everyone thought it would.

The first few months of 2023 are gonna be vital for this guy.
