6. Make Way

When Ace Austin debuted a couple of weeks ago, it was noted in this column that there simply wasn’t enough space for him to join the X Division. While that may still be a true statement, he defeated enhancement talent Damian Hyde this week. Having him defeat a local competitor builds him up that extra bit more so that he can make his own space on the roster.

Similar to last time, it was a fairly dominant performance from the new Double A, eventually culminating with his running blockbuster known as The Fold. He’s a tantalising star to watch, with his unique charisma and his flurry of offence all over the ring. When the time’s right, we could be looking at one of the premier stars of the X Division.

Just thinking about some of the matches he could put on with the likes of Rich Swann and the members of The Rascalz is lovely. All he needs to do is mark his territory.
