7 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Mar 22)
4. No More Respect
Prior to the night's main event, Gail Kim's interview was cut off as The Lucha Bros and LAX were beating each other black and blue. It wasn't a long brawl as there were some staff members on hand to break it up in no time, but that didn't matter whatsoever. The main point here is that it shows something so simple is an incredibly effective way to build the rivalry up.
We've seen the teams face off before, and are aware of what they're capable of together. It's no secret how great they are on opposite sides of the ring. This segment here possibly hints towards the next bout between the duos being more of a brawl than a high-octane wrestling match. Is there really anyone who's going to complain about that?
The next chapter in this rivalry (and possibly the last) will likely take place at the Rebellion pay-per-view in April. That leaves five weeks to build the rivalry up even more. At a time when some of Impact's stories are subpar, you can always count on these guys providing some top quality entertainment.
