Good news, wrestling fans: WWE delivered a pretty strong, wrestling-heavy (for them) episode of Raw on Monday night.

With about 55 minutes of in-ring action spread across four matches, there was plenty to enjoy between the ropes. But that doesn’t count the opening segment, which provided the highlight of the show with a roof-shaking reaction from the crowd.

Jey Uso decided who he will face at WrestleMania 41, but he got a little – *ahem* – nudge from Gunther to help make that selection. With that choice made, we are off to the races for the two men’s world title matches.

Damage CTRL and the Judgment Day had a great tag match that seemingly caught people by surprise with how chaotic it became, but it set the tone for the in-ring portion of the evening. Even the “worst” match of the night wasn’t terrible – it was just dragged down by a couple of botches in the opening moments.

Throw in AJ Style returning to Nashville to a hero’s welcome, and CM Punk doing what he does best – making enemies – and you’ve got the recipe for a solid episode of Monday Night Raw.

Let’s get to it…
