WWE multi-man matches have a controlled chaos formula that tends to work pretty well when the wrestlers are synced up and on their game. Raw’s main event was a great example of the pieces falling right into place.

Braun Strowman, Jey Uso, Pete Dunne and Ilja Dragunov put on a highly entertaining match, trading off and unloading on each other in every permutation of the foursome. Being the biggest physical threat, Braun dominated sections of the match using his brute strength, and then was targeted by the other three to knock him out of the match for a large portion. Jey, Dunne, and Ilja brought their best, battling each other but failing to get the upper hand.

The finishing sequence was pretty good as well, with Bronson Reed returning to flatten Strowman with a Tsunami through the announce desk. Dragunov countered a Bitter End and landed an H-Bomb, but Uso broke up the pin with a superkick and delivered a splash to Dunne to earn his Intercontinental Championship match.

Hard work from everyone and a solid closing to the show. Jey versus Bron Breakker should be a good match, particularly if Uso keeps himself serious and doesn’t play to the “Yeet” chants too much.
