7. Daniel Bryan: Jobber-Smashing Machine

Though Drew Gulak is unlikely to be his WrestleMania 36 opponent, this mini-feud is a solid use of Daniel Bryan right now. He's being left alone to wrestle, which must make Dan happy, and there's the promise of more hard-hitting action if he's programmed opposite someone like Sheamus in Tampa.

For now, he's doing well as a jobber-smashing machine.

Bryan followed up his win over Heath Slater by beating Curtis Axel in a nice, brief four-five minute match. That's all this needed to be, and it was just long enough for Gulak to get over his intentions on guest commentary. Michael Cole deserves some praise too for sitting out and letting Drew and Corey Graves do most of the yakking.

This was perfectly acceptable wrestling TV - it helped further a promising rivalry between Bryan and Gulak and it didn't eat up too much time. Solid.
