7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (28 Feb)

6. (Not Such A) Handicapped Situation

There's no denying that watching Braun Strowman decimate three heels at Elimination Chamber will crap all over Sami Zayn's crew. That's been happening anyway though (Zayn, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura are the hapless buffoons of this piece who can't overcome Braun's monstrous power), and this does at least hark back to past angles.

Several weeks ago, the heels successfully beat down Braun. Friday's second helping gives them more hope.

Now, at next Sunday's pay-per-view, Strowman can either succumb to the numbers disadvantage and drop the Intercontinental Title or prove his mettle by running though everyone in his way. Both situations actually work; if Braun loses, then he can regain the belt at WrestleMania. If he wins, then it's onto the next.

It's not like Strowman vs. Nakamura would be some must-see match one-on-one anyway. It makes much more sense for Sami to take the pin in Philadelphia at the Chamber show then scramble to come up with another plan.
