5. Santos Escobar’s Win

It might've come via interference from Dominik, but that was still a big moment in Escobar's development as a heel fans should pay attention to. Beating someone like Rey Mysterio in a blowoff (assuming that was the one-on-one blowoff) encounter is a banner moment for him. Here's hoping Santos kicks on from it.

Circumstances be damned.

Escobar even got to smash Rey with his own 619 before hitting another finish to score the victory. Dom smiled at ringside, fans were outraged by more Mysterio treachery, and Santos looked like the man as he successfully pulled a fast one on his old mentor. The whole match really was win-win from beginning to end.

Rey is at the stage of his career where losses act like paintwork scratches rather than fatal crashes, He'll be absolutely fine coming out of Friday, but managed to give one of WWE's rising stars another leg up the ladder. It was rather funky to see Dominik wearing one of those LWO shirts too.

Baby Eddie Guerrero right there!
