6. Dominik Mysterio Costs Dad

Nick Aldis hopped onto social media before SmackDown to announce that all members of Legado del Fantasma and the LWO were banned from ringside for Santos Escobar's grudge match with Rey Mysterio. On paper, that meant Santos had no backup to screw Mysterio out of babyface revenge, but nobody read the small print.

Dominik Mysterio did.

Dom Dom showed up wearing one of his dad's old masks and cost him the match. That made him look devious, Escobar look resourceful, and gives Rey another reason to be mad at his tearaway son. Dominik's interference was a shrewd move, especially if he then gets involved in something between LWO and Legado at WrestleMania.

Rey's face was a picture when Dom appeared, and this run-in was a killer way to circumvent the GM's rules. Aldis has nothing to bitch about, because he didn't say Santos was banned from recruiting somebody outside his core group. Clever little finish for sure.
