4. Luchasaurus' Unnecessary Squash

Last night's Christian Cage vs. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy developments felt insubstantial, doing little, if anything, to advance the story.

Luchasaurus destroyed the far-too-good-for-this-role Anthony Henry in a quick, decisive, and impactful squash. Watching on from backstage, Cage, turtleneck and all, said that he would come out and slap Jungle Boy up but the people of Minneapolis didn't deserve to see it. When Jungle Boy ran to the back to jump cage, security stepped in until Luchasaurus beat them up. Pat Buck ate a headbutt.

AEW's attempts at delaying the gratification of Jungle Boy finally getting his hands on Christian continue, though this was more of a reminder of the feud's existence than a development. We've seen plenty of this already.
