7 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Mar 24)

3. Thumbs Up... Wait

With Sami Callihan being unveiled as the man behind the ICU takeovers (shock, horror, et al), it leaves the rest of oVe without a real leader, something that has seemingly sent Madman Fulton and the Crist brothers on a downward spiral. However, since when have the Ohio lads really needed a proper leader to be a destructive force in Impact Wrestling?

Obviously, Sami Callihan is the official leader of oVe, having always been the forefront of the quartet, but just because he's off doing his own thing, that doesn't mean the rest of the gang can't be successful in his absence. With Jake Crist failing to become the next in line to challenge Ace Austin for the X Division Championship, and then Dave Crist and Madman Fulton losing to Rhino and Sabu (a horrendous booking decision), it's clear the absence of 'The Draw' is messing with them.

But, just don't.

Sami Callihan isn't required for the rest of oVe to be at least semi-successful. In reality, Jake Crist is the most successful member of the group, seeing as he's both a former X Division Champion and multi-time World Tag Team Champion. Thus, 'The Golden Draw' should now be the de-facto leader, at least until Sami comes back (if he ever does). Just don't have them losing to old farts anymore.
