7 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Mar 24)
5. The World's New Most Dangerous Man
Remember when Sami Callihan was in NXT as Solomon Crowe, with the purpose of his character being a hacker? Remember how terribly that flopped? Thankfully, he's doing the character justice in Impact, hacking into the episode once again to deliver a message to Ken Shamrock.
Not only was it some excellent character development from the former World Champion, but what he said made perfect sense, stating that the newest inductee into the Hall of Fame was no longer 'The World's Most Dangerous Man'. Instead, Callihan was, simply because of what he's done in the last two years. He destroyed Eddie Edwards' eye, he went to war with Pentagon Jr. at Slammiversary, he took out Brian Cage's wife (technically by mistake), and his rivalry with Tessa Blanchard had some brutal moments throughout. It's possible Sami is actually right, in complete honesty.
While the pair's match at Rebellion obviously won't be happening now, we can only hope the match gets rescheduled for a later date because it has the possibility to be something special. If this all leads to something larger for 'The Callihan Death Machine', then it can play out for as long as it wants.
