7 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Mar 24)
4. Come Alive
You may be thinking to yourself, "Come Alive? Why are you referencing an Ashes Remain song in a wrestling review article?" Well, dear reader, it's actually a reference to former X Division Champion, Suicide, with the masked man of mystery making a triumphant return this week.
Let's go back to where it started. Moose, as 'Mr Impact Wrestling' continued his bashing of Total Nonstop Action, completely mauled former multi-time Tag Team Champion, Chase Stevens of The Naturals tag team, finishing off 'The Natural' with the No Jackhammer Needed. As the former Grand Champion continued his beatdown after the match with the assistance of a steel chair, Scott D'Amore entered to introduce the returning Suicide to take down the much larger Moose, donning a more grunge-esque version of his signature outfit.
Even though the TNA: No Place Like Home event has now been cancelled due to the ongoing global pandemic, these segments are always a highlight from the weekly episodes. All that we can hope for is that we get some sort of definitive conclusion to the Moose vs. TNA saga once the wrestling world is back to normal.
