7 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 12)
4. What Would It Mean?
Ahead of the Elimination Challenge next week to determine Sami Callihan's first challenger as the World Champion, we heard from a few of the competitors in that match throughout the evening, which were a nice touch to hype up the match that extra bit more.
Firstly, Rich Swann told us how he's made a career of knocking down the doors of people who didn't believe he has what it takes to make it in the wrestling business, followed by Michael Elgin claiming that 'The Callihan Death Machine' should cherish his time as the champion, seeing as it will come crashing down once he becomes the #1 contender.
Later on, Brian Cage added himself to the match, stating that he's not done with the World Championship quite yet, while Moose used his preparation time by proving he's the greatest professional tennis player in history by beating a lad named Mikey.
Although we didn't get to hear from Daga or Tessa Blanchard, we didn't need to. The pair of them, especially in Tessa's case, have had issues with the entirety of oVe as of late, so we don't need them to tell us what they're thinking going into the match. We can only assume they're both focused on being the one to end Sami's reign.
