7 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Dec 17)

4. Hit & Bliss

Alexa Bliss
WWE

Alexa Bliss' interview could have lacked spark compared to some of the recent sit-downs with the more divisive members of WWE's roster, but the former Women's Champion being brought face-to-face with her audition video from nearly a decade ago foreshadowed the revelatory nature of the chat.

The best wrestling tidbit from the chat snuck out as she appraised her last year - Bliss revealed that both her and Nikki Cross pitched their on-screen relationship directly to Vince McMahon, and implied that the Chairman was satisfied with their effort too.

Ending on a serious note, Bliss spoke on her past struggles eating disorder and the work she's done as an advocate and supporter of those suffering since. This earned worthy profile to conclude an otherwise light-hearted chat.
