7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Halloween Havoc 2021

3. A Nothing Squash

Several matches didn't fit on a show like this.

Joe Gacy vs. Malik Blade was one of them. A short squash had no business being on a card WWE's announcers claimed was "one of the biggest of the year". Yep, nothing says big time like Gacy badmouthing Halloween and then kicking someone's ass for two minutes.

The bit with Harland fell a bit flat with the live crowd at Capitol too. People don't seem to give a toss what's going on between Gacy and his walking man-monster - this is the kind of booking that should've been kept back for next week's TV. Again, it had no business being on Halloween Havoc.

Yours truly saw a comment on Twitter that said Gacy vs. Malik was still better than anything on WCW's final Havoc pay-per-view in 2000, which is hilarious, but...nah, skip this is you plan on watching the show back. It meant nothing.
