Downs…

4. Useless Babyfaces

Fans love to heap praise on Triple H for bringing back a multitude of women to fill out the roster, many of whom should never have been released in the first place.

But you also have to look at how some of these women are being booked to more fairly evaluate the Helmsley Era. And when you look at Candice LeRae and Mia “Michin” Yim, you can’t help but groan. The two babyfaces have been little more than useless cannon fodder recently, which really isn’t fair to them or their talents. But they’ve been booked horribly.

Witness the fatal four-way to earn a spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber on Raw Monday night. It was every woman for herself, but that didn’t stop Michin and LeRae from having a total breakdown where Yim broke up a pinfall by Candice and then apologized and agonized over having done that while LeRae looked pained herself… only for both to get steamrolled and ultimately lose. Later backstage, Piper Niven warned both of them to stay out of her way, and they did just that.

It's not just Monday’s encounter. Neither woman has been booked well since their return to WWE with Candice losing any momentum she had within a month, and Mia unfortunately left without a stable after being brought in to be part of the OC. But booking them in a match with title implications on the line and they just stare at each other incredulous that the other would try to win the match? Come on.
