4. Becky Finally Gets Backup

After weeks upon weeks over being outnumbered and not getting any kind of meaningful help (looking at you, Mia Yim), Becky Lynch finally got some backup to neutralize Damage CTRL Monday night.

Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai were aiding Bayley in her cage match with Lynch, preventing her from escaping and feeding the Role Model weapons when Lita ran down to take out both women, leaving Bayley alone to face Becky. Without her backup, Bayley quickly fell to a Manhandle Slam, putting the rivalry on ice for now… though you’ve got to believe we’re going to see a new iteration of it next week with Lita involved. No way this was a one-off.

If this leads to a WrestleMania blow-off with Lita and say, Trish Stratus, teaming with Becky against Damage CTRL, then that’s just fine and dandy. If Lynch isn’t going to be in a title match, she might as well have a high-profile bout for the biggest show of the year.
