3. Sami Sneaks A Win

Seth Rollins’ master plan made perfect sense heading into Monday night. After winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, his charges were given the assignment to win the King of the Ring tournament, thus cutting off another shortcut to the World Heavyweight Championship and potentially capturing both world titles.

And then the match happened. The four-way quarterfinal pitted Bron Breakker, Sami Zayn, Penta, and Dominik Mysterio against each other. Everyone has some good moments in this battle, with Dirty Dom trying to sneak pinfalls, Penta going toe-to-toe with Breakker, Bron being Bron, and Sami doing Sami things. (Seriously, it’s better to watch the chaos unfold than try to read a recap of it.)

Breakker seemed to have the upper hand and speared Penta on the floor when LA Knight got his revenge from last weekend and leveled Bron with a BFT. This allowed Zayn to put Mysterio down with a Helluva Kick, advancing in the tournament and giving just a hint of credence to Karrion Kross’ cries for Sami to take advantage of situations and be selfish to advance his career.

Good stuff overall here, and another entertaining match in a series of them Monday night.
