The New Day vs. The Hurt Business is a match we saw a lot in 2020's last few months, to the extent that last night's Raw Tag Team Title match didn't feel fresh, but who cares? Kingston and Woods vs. Alexander and Benjamin is always a fun outing and The New Day were probably overdue another shot at scoring their 11th reign as WWE Tag Team Champions anyway.

Momentum swung back and forth like a pendulum early on, as Xavier and Cedric fought for parity at a brisk pace. This ended when Shelton hit the ring, the former Gold Standard using his superior bulk and power to turn the tide, landing Kingston in the face-in-peril role. Kofi sold well for the Hurt Business before making the hot tag to Xavier. While it looked like tandem dives backfiring on The New Day might spell their end for a while, with Benjamin and Alexander's Business booming, the biggest bombs eventually fell in Woods and Kingston's favour.

A popping closing sequence saw Alexander wiped out with a DDT, Alexander eat Trouble in Paradise, Kofi dive on Cedric for good measure, Woods nail a diving elbow drop, and Kingston score the win via double stomp. Job done, and a fresh set of challengers emerged in the form of Omos and AJ Styles afterwards.

An interesting match, as it'll be our first taste of what Omos can do between the ropes. Monsters can be protected. In there with one of the best tag teams in WWE history and an all-time singles great in AJ, all Omos needs to do is learn how to hit a couple of slams well and he'll be fine.
