2. Jade Cargill’s Nothing Promo

Let's get this straight: WWE sent Jade Cargill out on SmackDown to say she’d be on Monday’s Raw to find out who Liv Morgan wants to challenge at WrestleMania 42. Thrilling. Hmm, this wasn’t very good. That isn't really Jade’s fault, to be honest. The writing team didn’t give her a prayer here. 'Go out and say you're going to be on the next TV show' is hardly electric material.

Perhaps the only interesting tidbit was that she mentioned Charlotte Flair when running down those involved in the women’s Chamber bout, but Flair wasn't the one who qualified in the end. That was a subtly lovely bit of foreshadowing from Jade - she assumed that Charlotte would get the job done vs. Kiana James and Nia Jax because she typically does, so at least Cargill has been paying attention.

That's the kindest thing one could say about her speech. It didn't do much for her bullying character, didn't capitalise on her first title defence vs. Jordynne Grace, and it pandered to Liv's choice after winning the Royal Rumble. That isn't something Cargill should be doing, especially for another heel. Besides, everyone knows Morgan won't pick Jade, so this is all pointless posturing to kill time.

So, it turns out that Jade's title reign means nothing without Bianca Belair and Naomi. Who knew? Triple H needs a shake considering Cargill is one of his pet projects and he pushed her to the strap late last year. Doing do without any sort of map for what came next? Pretty annoying.
