7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2022
Ups...
7. Bianca Belair Punches Her Ticket

WWE had options for Becky Lynch's next challenger. They could've booked Rhea Ripley as a destroyer in the women's Chamber match, then restarted her push towards the top belts on Raw. That would've been fine, but they've gone with Bianca Belair instead.
Cool.
Belair has unfinished business with 'Big Time Becks' anyway, and there's a natural story of redemption to tell after her embarrassingly quick loss to the champ back at SummerSlam 2021. WWE were never going to miss out on the chance to spin that yarn, and it's hardly like Bianca is a sucky babyface contender.
She was the preferred option to Alexa Bliss, put it that way. Programming Bliss, who is stuck between 'Fiend' style weirdness and returning to her old guise, as Becky's opponent in Dallas wouldn't have worked. Nah, it's a positive that Belair got the nod.
