7 Ups & 6 Downs For WWE Raw (21 July - Results & Review)

6. AJ Styles, Master Of Disguise

How is AJ Styles dressing up as a valet, a janitor, and a medic comedic high points on Raw and not a groan-inducing negative?

Styles continually turned up like a bad penny at every turn for Dominik Mysterio on Monday night, greeting him when he arrived and continuing to harass the Intercontinental Champion as he dodged getting cleared by WWE medical staff. This followed weeks of Styles tormenting Dom backstage, and it was only fitting that he would ramp it up on the week that Mysterio was supposed to get cleared.

AJ’s antics got legit laughs – playing opposite a comedy character like Dirty Dom helped tremendously – and the ultimate payoff of Mysterio blasting Styles right after getting cleared was a nice touch, especially after AJ spent weeks messing with Dom because he couldn’t touch the injured champ.

Believe it or not, the match itself could also surprise on the night, as Dominik has turned in some laudable performances and Styles still has some petrol in the tank.
