7 Ups & 6 Downs For WWE Raw (21 July - Results & Review)

Ups…

7. Love For The LWO

Despite the lack of logic behind Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde “earning” a spot in the number one contender’s match for the tag titles, there was something heartwarming about this iteration of the LWO getting a bit of shine Monday night.

Wilde and Del Toro have toiled away for a long time as “the other guys” in various stables, eating pins despite being some of the best wrestlers on the roster who generate some of the biggest “oohs” and “aahs” from fans.

Monday, the LWO overcame the New Day and American Made to earn a World Tag Team Championship match. The triple threat tag match had some pretty nice moments, with Julius Creed throwing bodies around, the LWO hitting some fun double-teams, and the New Day flailing about hopelessly before finally falling to a Wilde rollup.

While no one is expecting Wilde and Del Toro to capture tag gold, it would be safe to assume they will not squander a bit of the spotlight.
