7 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling Hard To Kill 2020

4. Stepping Up

Seeing as Brian Cage wasn't able to take part in his match with Rob Van Dam, Daga instead stepped up to the challenge of the former Impact World Champion. It had all the potential in the land to be a great match, had it gone on for longer than five minutes.

The match was nothing special in any way. A few kicks and dives, before the extreme icon connected with his corkscrew leg drop and a Five Star Frog Splash for an easy victory. It's like Daga didn't even bother putting in any effort - although, to be fair, he didn't know he'd be having the match. Still, it could've been wonderful, had it gone on for even a few additional minutes.

If we get a rematch between these two, then that will no doubt be an extraordinary encounter. As for now, their match gets a Down, sadly through no proper fault of their own. Just too short to get anything else.
