Whether he gets added to the WWE Championship match at Day 1 or not, Bobby Lashley made a splash Monday night after the opening match.

With the cage raised, Lashley hit the ring to lay out Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, pretty much staking his own claim for a world title shot. Interestingly, the attack came during a commercial break, so we had to relive it via replay, which almost never happens on a three-hour Raw. Later, MVP and Lashley said the attack was a consequence for disrespecting him by not including him in the title picture.

There’s always a chance Lashley gets added to the WWE Championship match – Owens himself was just added last week – but if not, he’s pretty much made the case that he’s got next regardless of whoever emerges from Day 1 with the title.
