7 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 25)

5. Why Still T-Bar?

Maybe this is too much thought, but why is T-Bar still going by that stupid moniker?

Way back when, when RETRIBUTION was formed, the group donned masks and used strange names as part of a way to rebel against a WWE that had “failed” them. Sure, whatever. But the group fell apart eons ago, and now Mace (T-Bar’s tag partner) was drafted to SmackDown, leaving T-Bar as a solo act… a solo act still doing an offshoot performance of his RETRIBUTION character.

Why not go back to Dominik Dijakovic? They could have reinvented him, let him hit a reset button and reboot as the guy who was doing pretty decently down in NXT. A 30-second vignette backstage could have set all of this up.

You literally have Keith Lee, Damian Priest and Dijakovic all on the same Raw roster. You could have bangers of matches for the United States Championship for months with them and a bunch of other guys.

But no, we’re sticking with this goofy character that comes out to silence. Bravo, WWE.
