We have no objection to the Dirty Dawgs winning a triple threat and earning a Raw Tag Team Championship match.

But maybe the writers could have thought about things for more than a minute and more than five minutes into the future when they were booking shows earlier this month. Your new #1 contenders lost two tag matches in the previous two weeks during the lull of the draft, both to Big E & Drew McIntyre – who were in the midst of their “Can they co-exist?” storyline.

So you’ve crowned new top contenders who have done nothing but lose on Raw this month. In fact, the Dirty Dawgs have not won a televised tag match since April. They lost the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in May, and it’s been downhill since then for them.

But hey, they’ve earned a title shot! Stay tuned for later!
