5. Not Quite On Par

Going into the weekend, this fan predicted that Happy Corbin vs. Pat McAfee would be an undercard gem both guys could be proud of. Sadly, it wasn't quite on par with McAfee's previous efforts. A few pesky botches and slips here or there are to blame for that.

Both guys worked hard, but there was a strange lack of chemistry for dudes who are real-life friends and former roommates; though pro wrestling chemistry is different to just being mates, more was expected here. Maybe that's harsh when Pat has had like four matches to dare, but yeah.

Something was missing.

The match did make one thing obvious: WWE shouldn't go down the rematch route come Clash At The Castle. There isn't enough to the story to keep it going, and the first bout wasn't nearly good enough to merit a repeat.
