7 Ups & 7 Downs From AEW All Out 2022
3. Thanks For Coming, Malakai Black!
Live reports from fans who were actually in the building say Malakai Black was blowing kisses and waving to fans after doing the J.O.B for Darby Allin in All Out's other six-man exhibition. He might only be taking some time out from wrestling for personal reasons, but Black's AEW career needs a proper rethink.
Losing to Darbs, Sting and Miro here means that his House Of Black group currently floats around the bottom of the rankings for those brand new Trios Titles, and that's sad. They should be one of the most powerful units on the roster, but...they're losing more matches than The Dark Order these days.
It's hard to think positively about any of this.
Yours truly is an old WCW mark who genuinely enjoys seeing the Stinger still out there doing his thing. That nostalgic blast can't stop him from questioning why Malakai is being handled worse than he was by Vince McMahon in WWE.
Wasn't his AEW run supposed to right all of those wrongs?!
