7 Ups & 8 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jan 21)

5. Shot Called

While Michael Elgin may be appearing delusional in terms of his rivalry with Eddie Edwards, the former American Wolf knows exactly what's really going on.

The holder of the Call Your Shot trophy attempted to announce his cash-in at Rebellion on 19 April in New York City, only for 'Big Mike' to pop in, and proclaim the trophy to be his possession seeing as Eddie 'tapped out' at Hard To Kill. Edwards only had one thing in mind to settle their differences - have a scrap once again. While Elgin is far from being correct about the trophy belonging to him, the matches between the two have been superb each and every time.

Their match on the Impact before Hard To Kill was one of the best television matches this writer has ever seen from Impact Wrestling, while their pay-per-view bout was equally as good. No matter how many times the duo go head to head, it's almost impossible for them to have a bad match with each other. It may get tiring to see the same thing after a while, but the matches will still be decent no matter what.
