7 Ups & 8 Downs From One Year Of Bray Wyatt’s Fiend In WWE
6. Legendary Attacks
The same could be said for Bray's early targets.
After dealing with Bálor, the 'Fiend' set his sights on a number of WWE legends who brilliantly put over that they'd just soiled their pants when he was near. Jerry Lawler, Kurt Angle and Mick Foley were the best examples, but Kane (despite his lack of fear) did a lot to help Wyatt too.
These legendary attacks became a highlight for fans who'd long-since tired of crusty veterans making lifeless cameos. It was far easier to put up with Lawler's ancient jokes and banter when one knew that screeching sound were coming, his eyes would widen and Bray would hunt him from the shadows.
Each victim gave Wyatt someone new to feature on his creepy 'Firefly Fun House' wall too. These ambushes were fun, didn't eat up much time on broadcasts, painted the 'Fiend' as dangerous and breathed new life into legendary bit parts.
