7 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 8)

1. KO Finally Snaps

After playing a babyface for what seems like an eternity, Kevin Owens finally snapped.

The move was telegraphed last week, and it got built up throughout the show on Monday, as Owens had to keep going to other wrestlers seeking validation that he was a good, trustworthy guy. The response he got was less than enthusiastic, leaving him to contemplate whether all his virtuous behavior was worth it.

And then Big E inadvertently blocked him from getting back in the ring, costing him a count-out loss to Seth Rollins in the main event, which finally led to KO snapping and attacking the WWE Champion. The beatdown was tremendous, as you’d expected from Owens.

A fired-up Owens, possibly on his way out the door, feuding with Big E over the world title is a great program that should only elevate the champ and the title itself. And at least WWE is getting something out of Owens, who had been middling and treading water for a while (through poor booking, not by any stretch his fault).
