7 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 8)

2. Setting Up For Something

One of the better subtleties WWE is building up right now is happening with RK-Bro and their struggles with Omos.

More specifically, the struggle is with Randy Orton and how Riddle keeps throwing himself into the fray against the Colossus. Orton had repeatedly reminded Riddle to stay out of the Street Profits’ conflict with Omos, that it’s not their fight, and that they need to protect their tag titles.

But last week and again on Monday, Orton started losing his mind as he watched Omos decimate a hard-charging Riddle. It leads you to two possible outcomes: Randy is going to turn on Riddle for being an idiot and not listening to him, or Orton is going to snap and finally go after Omos – which would send fans into a frenzy.

Given how jazzed fans are for Orton right now, and how they’d clearly love to see him clash with Omos, the logical conclusion would be for Randy to snap and attack. But given that it’s WWE, they’ll have Orton turn on Riddle and then tell the fans he doesn’t owe them an explanation.

But this is clearly building to a climax, and that’s kind of a fun thing right now.
